This is Luca working the flirt pole and practicing his down at a distance. DOWN is one of the basic commands that I like to train all my dogs to obey.

Here is Luca at about two years old going through an obedience training session using the long line to work on down at a distance. We also practice barking on command, muzzle acclamation, and socialization around other people and dogs.

I get asked questions about “reading” a Cane Corso pedigree all the time. I’ve produced several YouTube videos going over Luna’s pedigree, tracing specific bloodlines that run back to the original American dogs of the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. …
